[Fashion] My Favorite Autumn/Winter 2013-14 Lolita Fashion Trends

I have been an abide follower of Lolita fashion for the last 11 years, and I still approach the fashion with the same breathless excitement as I did back then. Now as a fully fledged Lolita I have been trying my best to keep up with all the current trends. Here is a list of some of my favorite trends this seasons!

Angelic Pretty Day Dream Carnival series tights
Tights, tights, and more tights! This is my ultimate must have in every Lolita wardrobe. All of the top Lolita brands have at least one pair of printed tights in this season's collection, not to mention all of the options you have from independent designers like Holley Tea Time. Whether you're a sweet Lolita, Gosuloli, or classic, there is a pair a tights for you!

Innocent World Braided Short Jacket

Military styled garments are a *HOT* trend this season in the fashion world. Just like you'll see a military styled jacket from Michael Kors, you'll see it in Lolita collections too! Alice and The Pirates has an edgy military coat in their A/W collection, and Angelic Pretty has such a large variety of outer ware that it's no surprise this coveted Brand has a couple military inspired coats to choose from.

BTSSB Looking for Baroque series

The art history nerd in me was absolutely gushing looking at this seasons prints. There is something so elegant about a tasteful frame portrait on a dress. It brings a sort of mature elegance to any style of Lolita. Some of my favorite frame beauties include Angelic Pretty's Musee du Chocolat series, and Juliette et Justine's La Cadre du Chat.

Atelier Boz Sphingan Ford long wool coat
There's something so cozy about a fur trim coat, or a fur muffler during the winter season. That's why I am obsessed with all the coats, and jackets this season. Looking through the collections of some of the top Lolita Brands, their fur trim is detachable on most of their coats. This is a fun feature that is fairly common in Lolita fashion and offers endless combinations through it's versatility. Not to mention you'll stay extra warm and comfy while looking adorable chic.

What are some of your favorite Lolita trends this season?
