[Review] Too Faced - Brow Kit and Natural Face

If it isn't clear by now, I love makeup. Too Faced is becoming one of my favorite brands. Last January I bought their Romantic Eye eyeshadow kit and fell in love. I'm very serious about my eyebrows, and have been eyeing the Brow Kit for a long time. The Natural Face kit was a gift from my bestie Aziza for Christmas. Being a cosplayer has encouraged me to discover more about face contouring, and this kit is perfect for a starter like me.

Such dreamy packaging.

Instructions included.
If you haven't experienced a Too Faced kit yet, they are a neatly oraganized, and adorable makeup package. The Brow Kit includes setting wax, highlighter, blonde and brunette shadows, tweezers, brushes, a pencil, and three stencils to help you acheive the perfect brows.

The Natural Face kit includes a bronzer, a creme blush, a powder blush, concealer, brightener, and luminzer. Three tutorial cards are included that are so wonderfully detailed with easy steps to follow.

I'm still learning a lot about face contouring, and I am so happy with these kits that they are a instantly recommendation from me. Thanks for reading, lovelies!

[Review] Lime Crime - "Suedeberry" Velvetine

My latest Lime Crime acquisition is their coveted Velvetine lip stain in Suedeberry!  It is advertised as a long-lasting lip stain that dries matte. I'm not going to lie to you lovelies; this lip stain definitely lives up to it's reputation!

As usual the packaging is adorable. It is foiled with a rose motif and not the usual unicorn bust. The glass is frosted which feeds into the velvet illusion. The applicator is like any other typical lip gloss and gives expert precision.

Unedited Suedeberry swatch.

Suedeberry is a beautiful coral shade that is reminiscent of lip shades from the late 1950's, early 60's. And as advertised, it goes on liquid, dries matte, and lasts all day!

This shade is absolutely lovely, and is a nice bright matte. I am excited to see the other shades that Lime Crime is producing for their velvetine line. Thanks for reading, lovelies!

[30 Day Challenge] Day 10 - What's In Your Bag?

The month in which this challenge is happening is a special month that stretches over several months. Ha ha ha, just kidding, it's just me trying to juggle many things  I've started up college again and I'm back at work so things might be slow around here. Today's topic for the 30 Day Lolita Challenge is "What's inside your bag". They say you can tell a lot about someone about what you find in their bag. Let's see what mine says about me.

Sanrio x Tokidoki tote
I've owned two Tokidoki purses, this one being my second. the first one I bought when I was 18, and I used it until November 2013. That's 7 years with the same purse! I'm very picky about  what purse I use. I like them to be big enough to hold all of my usual things, plus a water bottle and paperwork for work. This bag hasn't let me down yet! Now for a peek inside.

Such pocket. Very space. wow.

These items are consistantly with me. I usually have a pair of gloves in here too, and maybe some snacks. The one thing that I always have with me that I don't keep in my purse is my keys. I really don't like digging in my purse for my keys so I keep them in my coat pocket.

Band-Aids, pain killers, eye drops, eye glasses case, makeup pouch, wallet, and checkbook.

The contents of my purse aren't very exciting, but thanks for reading lovelies!

It's 2014!

Hello, lovelies! I hope all of you had a wonderful and safe holiday!

I'm sorry I havn't been updating (I missed so many days in my 30 Day Lolita Challenge), but the holidays were super busy for me. I only have 2 days left, not including today, of my vacation then it's back to work and back to college. Needless to say, updates will be slowing down. I will try my best to set up queued posts to stay regular.

I have a lot of reviews, and challenges, and LBC posts to make! I've started work on some cosplay too, so if you don't follow my facebook page Megan Ann, be sure to follow my cosplay tumblr to stay up to date with my progress. You know, just in case I forgot to update here.

Thanks for reading, lovelies!
